Summer is finaaalllly here and we’re starting off it off the right way! I’ve got a doubleheader this Friday – First up, I’ll be warming up the after-work crowd at Goros in Surry Hills with my some classic boom bap hip-hop, 70’s soul, and funky treats from 6pm to 9pm. This is one of my favourite spots to play at, mixed crowd with a good dancefloor, karaoke rooms, pinball machines, top-notch drink selections, and on point Japanese izakaya style food menu and booths. My boy, Makoto will take you through til 12am while I hot-step across town to Ching-a-lings , where we held a solid Sunday residency about 5 years ago. The joint still goes off gets packed out early, and has wicked outdoor courtyard rooftop area situated right in the middle of Oxford St in Darlinghurst.
I’ll be mixing up the DJing duties from 9pm to 1:30am with my good bro, DJ ADVERSE who will be bringing his own brand of hip-hop, funk, r&b, disco and party bangers! It’s always a riot when we both spin together, so come hang and join us for a few brews, scotches or a bit of boogie bizness!
