SOUL OF SYDNEY DJs @ Elliott’s Balmain — Courtyard Affair
The long weekend, and Elliott’s courtyard in Balmain gets turned into a sun-drenched dining-thru-dance party — soundtracked by Soul of Sydney, the city’s most trusted tastemaking collective, and their extended family.
This is the groove-heavy union between Elliott’s Balmain and Soul of Sydney — a curated lineup journeying through tropical funk, disco, rare grooves, timeless soul and universally beloved party anthems. Best known for impeccable selections and flawless dancefloor instincts, these cats don’t miss.

The day begins at the table. Guests arrive to a three-course meal from Elliott’s acclaimed kitchen, paired with alfresco feels, ice-cold Grifters and specialty cocktails rolling into twilight. As the plates clear, the courtyard opens into a full-bodied afternoon party - warm vinyl tones, dancers and long-weekend revellers coming together under the open sky. Unhurried, sun-kissed and saucy.
I’m on 1:30–2:30, laying down my set as part of a full Soul of Sydney lineup: Rob, DJ CMAN, InnerWestSoul, DJ SOUP, Phil Toke, BoogieMonster - hosted through the afternoon by spoken-word artist MC Mirrah.

Lunch tickets sold out, but a second batch just dropped for after-lunch entry and a boogie from 4–8pm. Come say hi if you’re in the area.
Presented by The Grifter Brewing Company and St Germain, at Elliott’s Balmain (79 Elliott St, Balmain). Full set times and door info on the Soul of Sydney blog.
Welcome to the Courtyard Affair.
