Been getting right into Jamaica’s ‘Studio One’ label of late who are responsible for some of the country’s biggest recordings from the 60’s & 70’s. More recently there have been some amazing Studio One compilations released by ‘Soul Jazz Records’. Here’s one highlight I found myself listening to at work this morning - put me in a good mood instantly. Get your hands on this compilation if you if you’re a lovers rock fan - it’s solid from start to finish with all the classic Studio One heavyweights.
