One of my favourite Sydney locations to play at the newly opened Grain Bar at the Four Seasons Hotel on George Street. With an extensive food and drinks menu all very reasonably priced, and not to mention one of the few bars with proper table service; this is the kind of place you can kick back in, and enjoy the ambience and music in a setting which is never overly crowded and perfectly blended with a mixd crowd. Perfect to take a small group of friends to unwind after a hard days work. I love the open air windows and sun lit setting in the late afternoon with the buzz of George St set back just enough to provide a cosy intimate setting.
The other thing I love about this bar is their music policy. Think soul, funk, jazz, bossa, brazilian and warm tempo’d grooves to keep a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. Everything about this establishment is authentic with a classy yet unpretentious vibe.
I’ll be playing from 6 to 9pm this Friday 23rd November. Here’s a taste of what you can expect. Sydney is definitely lifting it’s game in the bar scene!
